i'm making corn bread. i'd like to bake it in my cast iron.
should i decrease temperature?
cook longer?
how have you found success baking in cast iron?

- When I bake corn bread in my cast iron pan, I do not make any modifications that I am aware of. I may add on an extra 5 minutes or so but . . . I have an old stove that can sometimes be temperamental so I don't know if I can attribute the extra time to the stove or to the fact that I use cast iron. However, I set the temperature the same whether it's cast iron or a regular baking pan.#1; Tue, 11 Dec 2007 14:15:00 GMT
